This is Helen's story
After losing a loved one a decade ago, due to multiple medical errors as reported by the coroner, I was forced to deal with the legal system.

The pain of loosing a loved one who suffered unnecessarily is heart breaking. In the end, I signed the waiver that pressured me never to discuss the details, names and circumstances of his death or I would be sued by the offenders. This is the result of a very broken health care system that our country has to contend with because of a political system that enables the pain and suffering of the average citizen all the while being paid for by our own tax dollars. It is a two tier system with the privileged having the advantage.
I was forced to sign waivers of non disclosure which prohibit me from telling his story, I want to share the consequences and the impact our health care has had on me and my children. I submitted complaints to the College of Physicians, the hospital and anyone who would listen but no one did. I was frustrated and angry as I was not able to get any closure or compensation for the harm to him and the family.
My children and I suffered through multiple years of dealing with the legal system With a lot of manipulating we lost the case and we were left fending for ourselves. I developed PTSD, and having been seeing a psychiatrist since 2011, my children's lives have been broken.
